Solving Singapore’s food waste problem

Singapore imports 90% of its food and 744,000 tonnes of this was wasted in 2019.

Seventeen-year-old Shan needs to seek out out about potential options to the problem. He says that trying into the problem opened his eyes to the “sheer scale of food wastage”, however he discovered that tackling waste may also help the neighborhood in addition to saving food.
