As the world begins to transfer away from petrol and diesel-power automobiles, there are questions over how the metals wanted for batteries in electric vehicles might be sourced.
One risk is to mine the deep ocean ground. Quite a few firms are lining up to exploit the minerals discovered there, however campaigners warn it may have a disastrous impression on the marine surroundings.
