NCAA to allow limited number of fans at March Madness

The NCAA introduced Friday that it’ll allow a limited number of fans to attend the 2021 males’s NCAA Tournament, higher often called March Madness. 

“This year’s tournament will be like no other, and while we know it won’t be the same for anyone, we are looking forward to providing a memorable experience for the student-athletes, coaches and fans at a once-in-a-lifetime tournament,” Dan Gavitt, NCAA senior vp of basketball mentioned in a press release. “After the cancellation of the 2020 tournament, we are happy to welcome some fans back to all rounds of the Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.”

The event will happen in Indiana at a number of totally different places, together with Ball State University, Butler University, the Horizon League, Indiana University, IUPUI and Purdue University. 

Fans can be allowed up to 25% capability underneath state and native well being restrictions due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic.
