Apparently, Fred VanVleet is not a supporter of the NBA’s disciplinary insurance policies.
The league introduced Thursday that the Raptors guard, his teammate DeAndre’ Bembry and Lakers guard Talen Horton-Tucker have every been suspended one sport with out pay for leaving their bench areas throughout Tuesday evening’s sport between Toronto and Los Angeles. Unfortunately for these guys, there’s not a ton of grey space in relation to leaving the bench, even when a participant is attempting to deescalate the state of affairs.
Hey, if nothing else, VanVleet can discover consolation in realizing it might have been worse. Imagine if he had achieved this throughout a giant playoff collection! (So sorry, Suns followers.)
