Francisco Lindor reportedly wants 12 years, $375M from Mets

Francisco Lindor isn’t on the lookout for large cash. He’s on the lookout for loopy cash.

The Mets have made a 10-year, $325 million contract provide to Lindor. The shortstop, whom they acquired in an offseason commerce with Cleveland, wished an extension to be carried out by Opening Day.

Just forward of Thursday’s Opening Day, ESPN’s Jeff Passan stated there was no progress on contract talks between Lindor and the Mets. Why? According to Passan, Lindor believes he’s price a 12-year contract for $375 million.
