“Can’t wait to get started at the Gabba” – Pat Cummins reacts after being appointed as Australia’s Test captain

Ace quick bowler Pat Cummins has been appointed Australia’s subsequent males’s Test captain, Cricket Australia confirmed on Friday.

Meanwhile, former captain Steve Smith has been named as Pat Cummins’ deputy. The talismanic run-scorer was stripped of his management duties after the notorious sandpaper gate incident in 2018. He returns to the management group after serving a two-12 months ban for his function in the ball-tampering saga.
