Vivek Oberoi flouts traffic rules and violates prohibitory orders – Times of India

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been charged for violating the traffic rules after a video posted on social media confirmed him driving the bike with out a helmet on the evening of February 14. Taking cognizance, the Santacruz traffic police issued an e-challan to Oberoi for Rs500 for not carrying a helmet.

The motion was taken after the traffic police got here throughout the video on social media. The e-challan was issued to the actor on Friday at round 7.02 pm by assistant inspector Nandkishore Jadhav from the Santacruz Traffic police division. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Western Traffic) Somnath Gharge confirmed the e-challan issued to the actor after the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) took cognizance of the matter.
