Foreign schooling consultancy and admissions platform Leverage Edu introduced it has raised $2 million in a debt financing spherical from enterprise debt agency Trifecta Capital.
This is Leverage Edu’s first debt increase, and with the newest funding spherical, the New Delhi-based EdTech startup has raised over $10 million so far.
Founded by Akshay Chaturvedi in 2017, Leverage Edu offers college students enrolled on its platform with a seamless school software journey, which incorporates customized mentor-led one-on-one workshops, portfolio build-up periods, entry to pre-program internships & on-line programs, and unique scholarship choices. The firm additionally helps college students with companies like visas, lodging, and schooling loans. Leverage Edu additionally operates Univalley.com, which offers advisory, tech, and recruitment options to companion universities throughout the globe.
Commenting on the newest improvement, Akshay Chaturvedi, Founder & CEO, Leverage Edu, mentioned,

The firm mentioned it’ll use the contemporary funds to gas its progress and go deeper into Tier 2-4 markets in India, aside from accelerating product innovation in keeping with their student-first method.

Leverage Edu had in February this 12 months raised $6.5 million in its Series A funding spherical led by early-stage funding agency Tomorrow Capital with participation from present traders Blume Ventures and DSG Consumer Partners. Prior to that, it raised over $1.5 million in December 2019 from Blume Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, and others. The firm counts angels like Saama Capital founder Ash Lilani, Pine Labs CEO Amrish Rau, and Goqii founder Vishal Gondal amongst its different traders.
