Supreme Court directs AIIMS to postpone INI CET 2021 exam for one month – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday directed AIIMS to postpone the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) for at the least one month. The apex court docket stated that AIIMS would give an acceptable date from one month on June 16.

“Supreme Court orders postponement of INI-CET 2021 exam for admission to postgraduate medical courses in all AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER and NIMHANS, scheduled for June 16, by at least one month in view of COVID19 situation,” stories ANI.

“Considering that the candidates have been rendering covid duties far away from Centres chosen and inadequate time for preparation, we are of the view that fixation of the date on June 16th is arbitrary,” the bench stated.
