Madrasa teachers being trained for online teaching in UP – Times of India

LUCKNOW: The administrative officers in Uttar Pradesh, educationists and specialists from IIM and IITs are actually offering coaching to the madrasa teachers for online training of college students.

This is part of chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s initiative to modernize madrasa training in the state.

Online training of madrasa college students has been began by Uttar Pradesh Board of Madrasa Education (UPBME), on the traces of colleges affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and UP Board.

The Madrasa Board, in collaboration with the Language Committee, has now taken up the train of organising division-smart coaching classes to equip teachers for online teaching.

During the coaching classes, teachers are given tips about easy methods of teaching.

Government officers mentioned efforts are on to rope in former vice-chancellors and retired administrative officers in the coaching programme.

“Online education is the need of the hour. In such a situation, teachers should prepare themselves for this. Teachers can also directly connect with the students to take classes,” mentioned an official.
