The examinations initially scheduled to be held from March 17 had been postponed to the second week of April in view of the (*12*) elections.
The state authorities’s request to postpone the exams, initially scheduled from March 17-30, was permitted by the Election Commission in March.
Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) second-12 months examinations will begin within the State from Friday.
Apart from centres throughout Kerala, there are 9 centres within the Gulf area and Lakshadweep the place candidates will sit for the examinations.
According to authorities, the exams will probably be held in strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
Students with COVID-19 signs and people in quarantine will probably be seated in a separate room.
