Army organises career counselling session for youth in J&K’s Ramban – Times of India

JAMMU: The Army on Saturday organised a career counselling session for children in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir with an purpose to empower, encourage and have interaction them in a constructive means, a defence spokesperson stated.

The occasion was organised at Gool to advertise career consciousness amongst the youth vis-a-vis to current important platform for identification of youth for showing in numerous aggressive examinations as per their curiosity and caliber, the spokesperson stated. He stated a complete of 100 children together with college students, each girls and boys, participated in the session.

“The youth were explained in detail about career courses and job opportunities at various stages and age groups such as enrolment in the Army, police, paramilitary forces and exploring the feasibility for opening own business by undergoing free training and courses which is being imparted from time to time,” the spokesperson stated.

Post counselling session, he stated, the children have been categorised in response to age teams for numerous job profiles and their names have been included for programs to be deliberate by the Army in the longer term at Gool and Mahore.
