Kanpur:After shedding Panchayat elections, a candidate, with aides, allegedly attacked his rival and his household in Bidhnoo space of the district on Tuesday. Bidhnoo police have registered a case towards the attackers on Tuesday night.
As per the criticism, Dayalu Singh and Shiv Kumar Sahu had contested for village head put up from Sen Purab Para village in Bidhnoo block. However, each misplaced, and one Ram Naresh gained the election. Dayalu held Shiv Kumar Sahu accountable for his defeat and allegedly barged into his home along with his supporters on Tuesday. Dayalu attacked Sahu and his household and allegedly threatened him to go away the village, the police mentioned.
Inspector Bidhnoo Vinod Kumar Singh, mentioned an FIR has been registered towards the accused following a criticism by Sahu.
Three injured in put up ballot violencer:Three individuals had been injured after a bunch resorted to violence allegedly over panchayat election enmity in Ghatampur space of the district on Tuesday. Irked over the incident, the opposite group later staged a highway blockade at Mughal highway demanding motion towards the attackers.
SP Outer Astbhuja Singh mentioned, “The attack was a fallout of Panchayat election enmity. Three injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. We have launched an investigation, action will be taken against the culprits.” TNN
